Tess, who hails from Haslemere, in Surrey, is known for braving extreme conditions, being a highly experienced climber who has also taken part in polar expeditions. She may well tell the story of racing across the Antarctic, during the South Pole Race in 2009, competing against fit young men such as Ben Fogle and James Cracknell.
