Open Garden – new – Four Marks

Event details

Sunday 12th May, 2pm until 5pm

Open Garden at 3, Timbercroft Close, Four Marks, GU34 5BB.

Entry £7.50 to include a cup of tea and piece of cake, children free.

New for 2024, this wonderful Spring flowering garden kicks off our series of Open Gardens in aid of Cardiac Rehab. Expect masses of colour, ornamental features and village views.

Over an 18-month period, replanting and new planting has taken place around mature camellias and other shrubs. There are both sunny and shady beds, a landscaped area with a greenhouse, a wildlife pond and small raised bed for vegetables. The shady areas contain hellebores, ferns and acers, with some mature shrubs including hydrangeas, camellias, mock orange and snowball tree.

All beds hold acers, rhododendrons and deciduous azaleas, along with Japanese azaleas and witch hazels. May should bring magnolias and peonies into flower, with roses, day lilies, various perennials and agapanthus to follow.

A collection of aeoniums will be displayed, with cuttings available on the plant stall, together with other plants.
