Exercise at Christmas

​Over-indulging at Christmas is as much a part of the festivities as singing carols, but now can we try and limit the impact of all those mince pies?  Building in a but of exercise into the holiday will help and in his latest blog, Dr Bethell looks at the ability of exercise to use up excess calorie – known as Physical Activity Calorie Equivalent (PACE).  For example it takes 21 minutes of running to use up one mince pie!  Would labelling using PACE on foodstuff help people?  Who knows, but the blog is a thought provoking and informative read…
