Hearty Riders support Cardiac Rehab

  A BIG thank you to the wonderful Hearty Riders for their donation of £250 to Cardiac Rehab.

Hearty Riders Co-ordinator, Janet, presented their cheque to Cardiac Rehab founder Dr Hugh Bethell this morning, who then joined the Riders on their trip, this week to Country Market in Bordon.  This kind gift will be used to support our work to improve heart health here at the Rehab Centre.

The Hearty Riders cycling group was formed in 2016 for those, having had a heart problem, to help regain their fitness or for others who wished to stay relatively fit as part of the Staywell Programme.  Since then, it has grown to be a group of between 10 – 15 riders who meet weekly for a bike ride and provides a chance to socialise too, with coffee and cake a must for each ride!  And as you can see they cycle in most weather!
