A quizzing evening for Rehab

Congratulations to team ‘Lucky No.5’ from Sheen Stickland who won our Big Quiz again last week. They retain the trophy, as well as enjoying a bottle of wine each, and we would like to thank to the whole company for sponsoring the event.

We had a full house at the Alton Maltings for this year’s Big Quiz. 14 teams got their heads down to answer the questions and also enjoyed a delicious curry supper, washed down with a glass or two of Moondance kindly donated by Triple fff Brewery. After supper, Godfrey was the winner of the Heads & Tails, based on celebrity ages.

At the half-way point it looked as though Windmill Walkers might take the winner’s spot, but it wasn’t to be. ‘Haven’t a Clue’ put up a good fight but walked away with the wooden spoon, or in our case a creme egg!

We would like to thank all the teams for taking part and helping us to raise over £1,800 towards our charitable work.
