Donating money to Cardiac Rehab
Whenever possible we ask those who donate money to Cardiac Rehab to take advantage of Gift Aid. Using Gift Aid means that, for every pound that you donate, we can claim an extra 28p from
HM Revenue & Customs, helping your donation go further. It doesn't cost you a thing and, if you are a higher rate taxpayer, you will be able to claim a further refund on your tax self-assessment form.
Making a one-off donation
Please send a cheque to our head office address, payable to "Cardiac Rehab", together with a completed Gift Aid Declaration if you are a UK taxpayer.
OR you can donate to us online now by credit/debit card at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). Just enter "Alton Cardiac" in the "Find a charity and donate" box on the CAF home page.
(Note that online donations incur a small fee payable to the website concerned.)
Making a regular monthly or annual donation
Please download and complete a Deed of Covenant and Bankers' Order Form and (if you are a UK taxpayer) a Gift Aid Declaration, and post them to our head office address. We will then make the arrangements with your bank.
Give As You Earn
If your employer operates this scheme, in which money is deducted from your monthly salary before tax and sent to the charity of your choice, please have your employer contact us for the details that they need.
Donations in memory of a loved one
Supporters frequently ask family and friends for donations to charity in place of flowers or other gifts at a funeral. If you wish, your funeral director will be happy to collect the donations on your behalf and forward them to us.
Donations at times of celebration
Don't want lots of unnecessary gifts from your family and friends on your birthday or anniversary? Instead you could ask them to donate the cash equivalent to Cardiac Rehab. If appropriate you can also have them complete a Gift Aid Declaration to accompany their donation.
Donate to us any unwanted shares or unit trusts
There are special ways of doing these - please contact us for more information.
